| Staging Your Home |
|
Are you thinking about selling your home? Home staging is an exciting way to create a beautiful warm feeling in your home that can be enjoyed by all. Whether you ar selling your home, opening your home to friends or just want an instant change, home staging is an easy affordable option that can be done room by room. Kitchen--Keep your countertops open as much as possible. Put away appliances you don't use often. Get some colorful canisters, or spice racks to add flair. Copper pots can do the trick but hang them for display instead of taking up space. Bathrooms--Assume buyers and guest will use your bathroom. Make sure your towels are clean and properly hung. Maids of Honor likes to tri-fold them for that special "resort" look. A common trick is to place white towels for display and keep your everyday towels out of sight. Living Areas--When a room is in order it looks good, feels good and allows buyers to visulize their own things in the home. Make sure everthing is neat and in order. Use flowers, artwork or accessories to add splashes of color.
Bedrooms--Clutter, Clutter.....what can I say. One of the biggest problems in staging your bedroom is to make sure what they see is ample room to store things. Invest in a good closet organizer system and you will be able to give it that "clutter free" look. Outdoors--Keep the lawn mowed, trim the edges regularly. Make sure that trees and hedges don't block the view out of your windows. Most of all keep the tools and the kid's toys out of sight.
